Deckles are adjustable devices that vary end product width by blocking off portions of the die slot from both ends of the die.
External Deckles
External deckle systems include fixed or flex body deckles, sliding cantilevered wedge-style deckles, and our FastDeckle™ system, featuring an adjustable sliding yoke with single point wedge clamp sealing system.
Internal Deckles
Internal deckle systems include fixed internal deckle blades, full manifold internal deckling, and our EPC™ full internal/external deckle system, designed for optimal edge profile control, allowing processors to save material cost.
