Nordson’s iTrax System incorporates spray monitoring, timing control and spray pressure control of the can manufacturing line into one integrated system.
Overview
Real-Time Monitoring: iTrax ensures smooth and efficient spray operations with fewer rejects and less downtime.
Automatic Spray Monitoring: The iTrax Spray Monitor (SM) Module tracks key parameters such as base pressure, spray pressure, duration, spray count, spray rate, and gun open/close time.
Recipe Creation: The iTrax Pressure Control (PRx) Module allows programmable spray pressure adjustment and monitors spin speed, lacquer temperature, and can-in-pocket positioning.
Problem Detection: The iTrax DataShare Module enhances communication with the PLC interface for improved efficiency and productivity.
Precision Spray Control: The iTrax Spray Control (SC) Module provides timing control to 1 millisecond with ±0.05 millisecond accuracy and alerts operators of gun errors.
