UV curing
Ultraviolet curing is a photochemical process in which high-intensity ultraviolet light is used to instantly cure or dry UV inks. The UV curing process is based on a photochemical reaction, using light instead of heat. Liquid monomers and oligomers are mixed with a small percentage of photo initiators and then exposed to UV energy. The ink cures instantly as a result.

UV coating & finishing
UV coating refers to surface treatments which are cured by ultraviolet (UV) light. These can be applied to a huge range of materials to add a tough or high-shine finish, or protect the underlying material from the harmful effects of UV light in the future.
